This website (PostSecret) is absolutely mind-blowing.
The concept is that you make an anonymous postcard by hand with a secret on it that you have never told anyone, and send it to this address. The fellow who runs the site scans it and puts it online.
Bizarre? A bit. But many people have found it incredibly theraputic...
The postcards themselves, by nature of being handmade, express so much emotion it simply becomes overwhelming, from the more complicated ones to the simple crushers.
Edit: the image URL's don't work. I know.

Wow. How many of them do you suppose are real?

That is the first time I've ever been denied access to a site, for anything other than forgetting a password. Are you sure these are clean enough for hatrack?

They're secrets that have never been told. What do you think?

Huh. I dunno... I guess if I couldn't write music it could be theraputic.

It's dead links, but I bet that they are probably made up.

where's the logic in wrighting out your deepest darkest secrets for all the world to see, sounds fake.

I could see how some of them could be theraputic. Like if you didn't want to tell a specific person, but needed to get it off your chest.
One way to find out if they're real: someone send one in and see if they post it...

The link to the site is not dead. You can go look at them yourself.

I tried...it said access denied, even though I am at home, with no fitler on my computer.

There's nothing wrong with the site, it's just a blog. Don't worry about the content.
Very interesting though, and oddly, I think that most of them are true. There's just something interesting about the homemade cards that keeps me from being skeptical...

There's one that says, "I make everyone believe that I like to be different, but really I just don't know how to fit in."
