Yay! I'm katharina again! </llama voice>

I decided it was time to return to katharina after two things happened: 1. I kept getting identified as Lady Jane at BobnDanaCon, and that felt wrong, 2. There's a Jane_Lane around who is comfortable and eloquent, and I didn't anyone to get confused. [Wink] So, time to return to katharina, still safely in a distant third place.

I didn't have her before, though, so I wrote to the mods and they determined that while my e-mail had been changed back to me, it wasn't exactly my e-mail, so it needed to be changed again. All is normal again.

So how inappropriate is it to start calling you LJ now?

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

Yeah, I was worried about the possible confusion with Jane Lane [Smile]

Welcome back, kat!

Huzzah!

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

[Smile] Yay! And not just 'cause this way we'll get confused less. [Wink]

So kat is LJ and LJ is LJ, and there's OJ who's AJ, and JL is... new?

What a tonguetwister.

Clearly. [Wink]

I noticed that too at BobNDanaCon. I would never have called you Lady Jane myself, because my brain automatically filters new names out when I recognize them, so when I see Lady Jane or Javert Hugo, I just read "Kat."

[Big Grin]

Like this.

ElJay, it was fun for a while, though.

I think I need to introduce myself to Jane_Lane. Hmm...

So, would that be:

(Lady Jane)=(Kat)

or

Sub LadyJane
if Lady Jane
then katharina

sub LJ
if LJ then Lady Jane
goto LadyJane

[Dont Know]

Posted by Icarus (Member # 3162) on :

Exactly like that! [Big Grin]

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Hee, hee. Eric Slaine rhymes with Lady Jane!

(Nice to have katharina back. [Smile] )

Yes, it was.

Please note, I am not LJ. I am ElJay, or ljw. Never LJ or LJW. [Big Grin] Not like I won't answer to the others, if I'm sure you're talking about me, but that is my stated preference.

Posted by fiazko (Member # 5812) on :

Count me as one of the confused. I'm glad you're back to your "normal" self. [Wink]

Posted by Erik Slaine (Member # 5583) on :

How about El "J"?

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

Nope. Although TMedina sometimes calls me El, and I seem to be okay with that.

Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :

Kat, welcome back! It's good to have you in a less confuzzled state! [ROFL]

Posted by Dagonee (Member # 5818) on :

As the stranger rode into town, the townspeople looked up in hope. Was this the woman who could save them from their plight? Was this the legendary El J?

*cue whistling western music*

Posted by Erik Slaine (Member # 5583) on :

So were you thinking of "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" or "For a Few Dollars More"?

'cuz I immediately started whistling the latter.

*whip crack* "We can Fight!"...

Posted by twinky (Member # 693) on :

I was thinking Once Upon A Time In The West.

Edit: though I guess that was a harmonica...

ElJay, it should be noted that Trevor abbreviates EVEYONE'S name. I finally persuaded him, though, I think, that my name is really not one that should be abbreviated. I hope.

And welcome "back," kat! [Smile]

No, it's me - I think we weathered the sharing of computers reasonably unscathed.

He did alter the sig on my e-mail to something slightly too revealing, but then caved and told me about it before I sent anything out. [Razz] He's such a softie. [Wink]

Posted by TMedina (Member # 6649) on :

Sorry Eljay - I will, in future, make more of an effort not to abbreviate.

I suppose I should apologize to Beverly too. [Big Grin]

And now no one will get you confused with a Lady. [Taunt]

Or "Le J" for the French contingent.

I think Germans should refrain from translating it.

And Russians are out of luck, no articles.

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

Actually, Trevor, I'm okay with it when you abbreviate. No worries.

'Sides, I've kinda gotten in the habit of calling you T, so it would be silly of me to object to you calling me El. *twinkles*

The rest of you are being remarkably silly. [Smile]

Anyone else thinking of this?

"you can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay ... "

Ahh, ya doesn't has to call me Johnson! You can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, or you can call me Johnny or you can call me Sonny, or you can call me RayJay, or you can call me RJ... but ya doesn't hafta call me Johnson

That's okay. After Twink's post, I started whistling Stan Ridgeway songs....

It's a natural. [Big Grin]

Hey Noemon I heard you wanted to see David Sidaris?

AJ

I think we should have a test to see if this is really Kat.

Posted by JonnyNotSoBravo (Member # 5715) on :

Are we talking about DNA or a kat (not Frisco) litmus test?

Posted by Susie Derkins (Member # 7718) on :

Maybe we should test the Alleged Kat's knowledge of juicy secrets.

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

David Sedaris? I dunno about Noemon, but I would like to see David Sedaris. [Smile]

Posted by BannaOj (Member # 3206) on :

I believe David Sidaris will be somewhere in the midwest sometime in the near future.

he'll be in bloomington quite soon, ask stryker, he knows.

Forget David, how about Amy?

Posted by lucy hummer (Member # 7740) on :

David Sedaris is at the Indiana University auditorium April 19th, so I'm guessing he's going to be several places in the midwest around then too.

*beams*

It's like putting on a worn, comfortable pair of jeans that you'd stuffed in the back of the closet.

This is indeed Kat. Hmm...how can I prove it...I'm willing to answer all supersecret questions. I can tell you who was in the car when we went to church at WenchCon II. Hmm...what else.

What would Katie's reaction be to this picture?

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

Oh, for crying out loud. At least I can hide behind my hair.

Sophie looks adorable, though.
