Okay, I've been the answer giver for this type of question before. Now I must ask.

I'd heard from a reputable source that this was a good album, so I finally went and got it today. And it was quite good. But I got to the last track, and there's a song there that's been driving me nuts. If you go HERE and click on the sample for track 11 you can hear what I'm talking about. I've googled it, and I went to IMDB to check their soundtrack index, and it does not appear to have been used in any movies. But I know I've heard it somewhere. I'm about to go mad. Help please. [Big Grin]

I totally know this song! Missing by Everything but the Girl is a fantastic song.
They got some other song called Apron strings in a movie called, "She's Having a Baby" with Kevin Bacon in it.
I'm not sure if it has been used in a movie though, but it's commonly played.

Yeah, but it's something specific. I thought it must have been used in a movie I know really well, but apparently it wasn't. So maybe a TV show or a commercial or something. I know it's not from hearing it on the radio or anything general like that... it was used somewhere specifically.

It might have been used in an ad... Again, it's a very common and cool song, so it's probably been everywhere...
I don't know if it was used in that SNL sketch with the two guys partying. I think they used another song.

I am pretty sure Synesthesia is right. It is some of the background music for those two dorky disco guys on SNL, or sounds like it.(Will Farrell and the guy who plays Mango)

Yeah, it might have been that, but it seems like they always used the "What is Love? Baby don't hurt me" song in those sketches. Then again, now that you mention it, maybe this one actually was used in the Mango sketch, when he's appearing in peoples' visions taunting them. I hadn't thought of that, but it sounds right. (Too bad, because I really hated those Mango sketches, and I kind of like that song.) Or maybe it was used in the disco sketches along with that other song.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure you're right about SNL. That'll help me sleep a little better. Thanks. [Smile]

I think the song was the background when he said, "Do? It doesn't do anything, thats the beauty of it."

This is the song they used for the Mango sketch on SNL, yeah.

What WAS the song for the Night at the Roxbury sketch?

That's the What is love song Speed mentioned.

"What is love? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me... No more."
