Being that in my thread "the internet makes you stupid" we're debating whether ideas and attitudes need to be expressed verbally, I decided we should try visual expression just to test things out.

Not really. I actually just enjoy looking at stupid, stupid pictures.

So I got on google and looked up "dachshund."

I'll start.

EDIT: WARNING: SO CUTE YOUR HEAD WILL ASPLODE

Sure, why not.

Also, can one have a favorite lampshade?

...I'm sure he noticed that before he put it on, right?

Holding the sun.

Wow.

I'd have poopy pants if this happened to me.

Wicked cool.

Wouldn't want to be this boat.

And who doesn't like a nice Jayhawk, or 20.

There are many, many photographers with skills superior to mine so I'm just gonna link the latest shots I've taken that I'm relatively pleased with.

This is one I took of my father while we were vacationing in Northern Minnesota.

This is a shot of morning mist hovering over the Marais des Cygnes, a river that runs through my hometown.

This is a previously linked shot of a bee gathering pollen from a apricot bush in our backyard.

An absolutely photogenic tree stands alone in the mist between home and Lawrence KS.

A shot from underneath the aformentioned tree looking towards a boggy pond. For some reason this shot reminds me of LOTR.

I love the contrasting colors in this photo of aspen trees on an island on Rainy Lake in Minnesota.

Edit to correctly identify the trees in the last pic as aspens instead of sycamores.

Aren't those birch trees, punwit?

Beautiful photos, BTW. That one of your dad sitting on the rock in northern MN--which lake is that?

Oh, this is fun.

Photogrpahic evidence of why I'm so weird (or: The First Photo I Ever Doctored)

My pious cat. He habitually stared at this painting for long periods of time.

My sister, who is hot.

Bless your heart.

I have constellations for birthmarks.

At one point in my life, I had red hair.

My art becomes propaganda.

The first painting I ever sold to a Hatracker [Smile]

My art becomes college propaganda.

My best friend Abby of the Blue Eyes.

I love it for the combination picture-message. But then again I've never been a visual guy and the right message can turn even the strangest picture into something I like. [Dont Know]

My musical kitty

I'm at work, so I don't have access to many pictures here, but I'll add more when I get home (probably late next week, cuz I'm leaving tonight for the first of two back to back trips... my kitty will be so lonely... he's a lot bigger now though)
