I have not seen "Sin City" yet but I have heard very divergent things from friends.
I saw Rodriguez's last film, "Once Upon A Time In Mexico" and I found it very lacking.
It seemed amoral and though it had a few great moments with some great actors, (Johnny Depp, Antonio Banderas and others) it felt hollow in the end.
"Sin City" looks about the same to me, it might be amazing, but it might not be.
The bottom line is if you can't make a movie look good for 1 minute, its not a very good movie.
Anyone who has actually seen the movie care to enlighten me?

Sin City is a film noir moving comic book. I reckon them as thinks that kind of thing is cool will like it, and them as don't, won't. There's not much use searching it for valid moral messages, or socially redeeming value of any kind at all, really. There's none there to be had, because it wasn't the point.

Sure wasn't. Well, sort've, but on a brutal, sociopathic level.

So, the bottom line is maybe or something? [Dont Know]

Awesome movie, although very violent.
