...no info on times and channels yet, but this has been confirmed.

The teaser will also "most likely" be attached to prints of SW III.

If you want to read a spoiler review of the unfinished version of the trailer shown at the Biola Media Conference, click here...

Or you could watch the jerky, sometimes out of focus illegitimate fan-taped version of the unfinished trailer posted here on AICN (which I normally loathe) but I'm such a Narnia geek that I just did.

Watch it here. It's sure to be taken down soon though, if I know Disney.

Oh man. It looks _so_ good.

This'll tide me over until December. [Cool]

Not me. I'm already gnawing my fingers off. [Big Grin]

That one shot with the Mer-People leaping in front of Cair Paravel _alone_ gave me chills.

Trying to keep my expectations reasonable. Man, it's hard. [Smile]

Hey, it's LOtR meets A Series of Unfortunate Events!

Looks very pretty.

Jadis is HUGE!

That scene in what I assume is her palace where she grabs Edmund....*shiver*

It seems to be back, unless I'm not clearing my cache properly.

The AICN link for the trailer leads to a page of gobbledygook for me now.

Oh well. The 7th isn't that far away...

Hmmm. It is back. Must've been a momentary glitch, or a problem on my end.

Seems cool!
But you can tell Disney had their way with it. Those were some really overdone lines as well as the text up on the screen... very kiddish and melodramatic. Trying to get the Harry Potter crowd I guess.

Nope, it's gone again now.

Disney had no involvement with the film except distribution and advertising.

Other that the warnings from the housekeeper Mrs MacReady, Peter counting down during "Hide and Seek" and one line from Susan "Impossible!"...there wasn't any dialogue in the teaser at all. And the text on the screen wasn't any more dramatic than the stuff the Beavers told the Pevensie kids in the LWW book about their destiny.

Lewis's style in CoN was an influence on Rowling's style in HP, remember. [Smile]

And remember...Lewis definitely _did_ write LWW for children. A faithful adaptation will have things that are aimed more at a "family" audience than the "Late Teens and Adults" LotR was aimed at.

AICN has removed the link from their front page. Must be gone for good.
