I'm looking for a version of the periodic table that includes valences (++ charge, - charge, etc), and preferably include how many electrons are in each shell.
This would make my chemistry homework so much easier, and maybe even prevent me from throwing or destroying things.

Are you working with the transition elements? Cause the rest are easy.

Would like one with the transistion elements, or at least the more common ones.
I'm getting frustrated because I can't even check my work to see if I'm doing the stuff right, and I detailed table would really help.

Rivka: I had already seen those second 2 links, and they really helped me figure out the electron configurations. But the valence-by-column thing only works to a certain point.

Ah, transition metals! Ok. *digs*
Like this? Posted by Eruve Nandiriel (Member # 5677) on :
Yes, sort of.
I was hoping to find one in a nice, pretty table.

I don't know about pretty, but that link has a table, doesn't it?

Sort of. It's not in the "periodic table" style form. But I think it'll work.

sorry to flake out earlier. work is crazed, hope rivka's links work for you.

Does anyone else think that Rivka should've been an engineer?

Dear God, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Just to brag a bit, I own a framed copy of the Periodic Table of Fruits and Nuts.
I should photograph it and show it off some time.

I love it!

Aah! Not only can you still buy the Periodic Table of Fruits and Nuts, but look what else they have!
*dies of excitement*

(Note that this isn't what Eruve is looking for.)

I downloaded a cool one for my Palm PDA, but it is on an SD card at home! Sorry!

Sweet! I want one!
I want one where the rare-earth elements are add-in leaves for when company comes over.
(edit: I'm talking about the wooden one)

Doesn't your chemistry book have one? Almost every chemistry book I own has one. And more importantly, they generally have anything you'll need to do the problems from the book.
As stand alone ones, I've always been a fan of the ones available here they do seem to be down right now though.

Byt the way, I meant "pretty" as in "well-organised and laid out", because to me, that's pretty.
My chemistry book has a periodic table, but I don't like it (partly because it doesn't have as much info on it). My chemistry book is stupid. It has section review questions, and then doesn't answer them anywhere, so I can't find out if I'm doing stuff right!
JK- I like that one. It's a little hard to read once I printed it out, but it has the kind of stuff on it that I was looking for.
Annie- I love the Periodic Table of Candy.
Thanks for all your help, guys.

j_k...the copyright information on your scan comes through really clearly...
You might want to take that link out of your post.
