I have a really old computer whose video and audio don't work. It only shows 16 colors and has no sound.

The video card is PCI standard VGA. That is not a lot of information. Belarc did not give me any additional information, nor did Dxdiag.

I found everest because I heard that it would tell you the the exact chipset or video card you need to find drivers for.

It shows too much information and I don't kown what to look for. Has anyone had any experience with everest?

Naw, this computer is for someone else. Iwill give it to him for word processing and very very old games.

I knwo how old and bad it is [Razz]

I don't need a video card, I just need to get the drivers to work.
