Raia and I have been ranting by Email about the stress, the burden and the pressure in our lives - which, of course, we do not not have anymore. In short, life's like an O.D. of hard work.
Raia bitterly suggested (I'm really overdoing this, aren't I?) a "too much work" pity party, and I said hey - why not invite the Hatrackers?
Now, let the ranting begin! Who's first?

all work and no play makes arevoj a dull girl. all work and no play makes arevoj a dull girl. all work and no play makes arevoj a dull girl. all work and no play makes arevoj a dull girl.
edit: (I really do not mind the hard work part; it is the "no life" part that is most difficult.)

quote:MAN (to Ricky) Look. I'm not paying you to... (eyes Lester, suspiciously) ...do whatever it is you're doing out here.
RICKY Fine. Don't pay me.
MAN Excuse me?
RICKY I quit. So you don't have to pay me. Now, leave me alone.
A beat.
MAN *explicative*.
He goes BACK inside. LESTER looks at RICKY, who shrugs as He stubs out the joint.
LESTER I think you just became my personal hero.
*I edited out an explicitive*

Oh, Raia, I'm really sorry... I don't like Coke. I only get stoned on JH's birthday.

Ever see "Office Space"? There's a conversation within to the effect of:
"My job? I'm not going to do it anymore". "You're going to quit?" "No, I'm just not going to do it anymore."
I would so love to be able to say that. I suppose I could, but I'm too much of a 6 (see Kayla's birthday calculator post).
I have an aunt - a few years ago she was hunting and fishing and working and found she couldn't do all three. So, she quit work. Excellent.

And here I thought we'd be discussing Kosher foods again. I guess I need to make sure that next time I read "Work" instead of "Pork."

Well, at least the thread was started by two of the three Israeli Hatrack contingents. Posted by Beanny (Member # 7109) on :
Mmm, orange juice...my favorite! How did you know?
Oy Vey Iz Mir, I wish I could truly enjoy it while reading a book or knitting, not revising for my exam.
