It's so hard to keep up around here! I was away from the internet for four days, and now I feel like I've missed lots of things. Gosh, it was hard enough when I was on the internet every day. Hatrack is just too fun. Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :
I'm always out of the loop. Posted by advice for robots (Member # 2544) on :
There's a loop?
Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
I make my own loop. *loops* Posted by aspectre (Member # 2222) on :
Yeah, I've been called a bit loopy myself.
Posted by advice for robots (Member # 2544) on :
I don't even email myself anymore.

Well just to get you up to speed: Tom finally admitted he actually liked President Bush and has just been playing hard to get.
Hobbes Posted by jeniwren (Member # 2002) on :
Me too.
I've missed news of how Mrs. M is doing. I was thinking of her over the week or so before Mother's Day. So how is she?
Posted by Hobbes (Member # 433) on :
She's busy laughing at my funny jokes.
[I don't know ]
Hobbes Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
She's having triplets; that can't be a walk in the park. Posted by Hobbes (Member # 433) on :
Well it can be, but not until they're two.
Hobbes Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
Um. Have you ever tried to walk triplets in the park? I have. I assure you, it's easier before they can walk! At least until they're old enough to control themselves.
Two is not a good age for it.
Posted by Hobbes (Member # 433) on :
You have? When?
Or more to the point: my jokes are funny even if only I think so, and I'm not so ashamed of being a complete attention whore as to not be one.
Hobbes Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
I was the regular babysitter of a set of triplets from the time I was 15 until I was 18.
When I was 15, I was asked to stay with them, with only the neighbor for backup, when they were three months old. For a weekend. The week before finals.
I did it-- because they paid me $50 an hour, $70 an hour for nighttime hours, and because it was an emergency, and their family was out of the country.
That's when I decided I never want multiples. I'll love them if they come, but I certainly won't hope for them! Posted by Hobbes (Member # 433) on :

Do they come in silver? Anything else would clash with my dinning room set.
Hobbes Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :
Holy cow, they paid well.
Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :
Mrs.M is having twins, not triplets.
And quid, they presumably HAD to.
Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
I'm sorry.
And yes. Do you really think I would have agreed if they were not paying enough that I didn't need a job for the rest of HS? (I did take other jobs, of course. But part of that money sat in the bank long enough to pay for part of my wedding.)

What kind of rope is the said loop made of?
Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :
Not rope. Yarn.
Posted by SteveRogers (Member # 7130) on :
Yarn? Hmmmm? What color? Oh wait, let me guess! GREEN! Is it green yarn?
Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :
No. White.
Posted by Mahabarata (Member # 7664) on :
I´m surely on the wrong one, mine is red. What should I do?
Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :
I don't know. That's never happened before.
Posted by HesterGray (Member # 7384) on :
The loop is yarn? Well, why didn't you say so?! I'll knit something with it!
