No, this doesn't involve Jonny Depp. I'm talking about the play adapted by Richard George. I bought an old, paperback copy of it from my local library for a quarter during their book sale. I haven't read it, but I hear it is a fair adaptation of the book. It is, if I remember correctly, because the same year I read the book, fourth grade (I think), the high school did a theatrical presentation of the play. We took a field trip to go see it. I was wondering if anyone else had read it or seen it.

i think I've read it and seen it, I know it was the play, but I'm not sure who adapted the version I read and saw, or if there are multiples. It was very good, I read it in orchestra sitting with the stage manager of the play.

I always liked the Oompa Loompa's chants in the play.
