I was in veryvery bad mood yesterday, and worst Tuesday evening. Why ? It's a sum of things.

First, i had little insomnia, and i sleep few hours during the night between Monday and Tuesday. I sleep more the last two nights. [Sleep] I'm getting better. [Smile]

Secondly, I have regret. I explain. Two weeks ago, i met a girl during the rock danse class. This class are once a week the tuesday.
You know, i'm not one of this guy who run behind girls. I don't react frequently when a sexy girl go in the street. [Dont Know]

So, i met a girl during dance and i had a strange feeling. A sensation of depth in their blue eyes. A sweet touched when i cought her hands. After the lesson time, there is a free dance time. And after a time, she went to me and asked if i would dance with her. Very incredible. [Big Grin]
So we dance (not well : we begin). After that, we spoke together. Very pleasant time. I learned her name and some little things i appreciate : she played piano for exemple. [Smile]

But it was the day of the Star Wars first projection ! And two friends and me had reserved our place in a very good theater on Champs Elysée avenue. And i quit her without a way to contact her. I thought she'll go to the next tuesday.

FATAL ERROR ! [No No]

There is two tuesdays before, and no girl... I lose !

This is not all, but this two things are the principals.

But today i feel better thanks to my best friend. [Group Hug]
I just have regrets. For star wars... pfff !! [Wall Bash]

(((((Choobak))))) At least you got to see Star Wars. [Wink] Just hang in there, you'll probably see her again. If not, maybe you can ask the teacher how to get in touch with her.

right : run after...

About the teacher, he's my best friend... and as the lessons are free, there is no list of dancers.
In reality, i already see her before, and already, it happened something...

(((Anna))) thank you

I think losing track of her sounds a lot like the beginning of a fabulous romantic movie. Undoubtedly, you will meet her unexpectedly at a manifestation on the streets in the quartier Latin (you will be protesting the opposite issue of her) and then you will buy her a pain au chocolat and you will both wander together under the stars and then you will dare to kiss her on the Pont Neuf and the rest of your life will be happy.

See, living in Paris makes things like that inevitable.

You are adorable, Raia and Annie. I hope you are right, especially Annie. [Smile]

I wonder why desteny make this meeting and separate us just after. It will be too cruel.

In fact, i remember better nightmare, when i had one. But i rarely had such a bad dream.

But this world is strange. How do you feel it, Carter ? And you MacGyver ? [Big Grin]

(Merci, Tatiana. I hope my dream will become reality too.)

C'est la fête !

I must be quiet.

So, i tell you what happened.
I went to the rock dance class as each tuesday. This tuesday was a good day : good work, good feeling, good health, and sunshine. So, i was going to the class with a light heart (avec le coeur léger, i don't know the good translation). [Smile]

I followed the lesson with putting into practice the well i could. After that, i was going out of the great room to breath back. And she was here... She just went give hello to friends, and i just catch here when she went out. ( [Hail] deteny)
And we discussed a lot again during around a quarter of an hour. Same good feeling. [Blushing]

And before she had to go, i invited her to a drink in a beautiful coktail bar Thursday, after work. And i gave her my phone number, and she give her one. [The Wave]

I am happy ! [Big Grin]

How she is ? She is... It's undescriptible !
The more simple to describe her is to begin by her physic. She is a beautiful fair haired woman with a deep and sweet glance, behind light glasses. She has a pretty lovely smile. [Smile]

I don't know if she is rich or wise or well-known or a star. And to say you all : I have nothing to do with such consideration.

I feel her like i never feel somebody. I feel sweet soul. And when i take her hand to dance, a strange flux went... [Smile]

Hep, Dragon, You really like my french syntax ? I try to use an english style, but i think it's impossible... [Big Grin]

So i switch my brain into the frenchy english position. [Wall Bash] well done ! [Wink]

In a city far, far away, named Paris, a man have met a woman during a rock dance class. But this story is well known now. They are two have a rendez-vous in a charming and beutiful coktail bar called Le Cardinal between the great Opéra Garnier and the Bourse de Paris.
You well understand i was the man and, as a man, i arrived with a ten minutes lead. She arrived at time.

And we spoke during two long hours...

A great pleasure. I learn she is dietician and write for a mounthly health paper.
She is a very good pianist too ! and i love piano ! And her eyes... Her glance... it's something who go into my eyes and touch my soul, i think. [Blushing]
I feel so good ! I want to see her again. next tuesday... [Smile]
In the end, we decided to go soon to a classic music concert at the théatre des Champs Elysées... I love this idea ! [Smile]

And before quiting, we looked in our eyes during some minutes... Subjectively an eternity ! [Blushing]

*large smile and eyes in the sky of dream*

Choobak, Schule is the synagogue. There's no reason why you'd know that unless you're Jewish. And I think he probably meant to type "Sunday." He can't theoretically post before then because of the Sabbath. [Smile] Though I haven't really seen that stop him before, but you know!

End of sunday... No amazing thing happened this day. Sometimes, i stay with a smile, looking nothing than the memory of two eyes... [Blushing]
I write something in prose yesterday about that in the train. I'll try to translate it for you :

"In the vast blackness of her pupils, warm night of summer where appears at the horizon a blue iris, my life was engulfed, trembling of this oceanic sweetness. Her fair hair makes of her face a sun with thousand rays which lights me and illuminates me, reddens my cheeks of a pleasant smile."

Maybe one day i could show her my writting work.

Ah ! Tuesday... My new favorite day... What will happen this evening ? I'll tell you.

Posted by twinky (Member # 693) on :

I don't know how it is in France, but if I was a girl and you were dating me here in Canada and you showed me that paragraph after only a couple of dance classes and a date, I would be kind of freaked out.

In fact, that happened to me once (well, not the whole "being a girl" bit [Wink] ). I met a girl who initially claimed only a platonic interest, but later showed up at my doorstep with poetry in hand to reveal her true intentions. To say I was nonplussed would be something of an understatement. I never saw her again, actually, though she did call me once.

I'm not trying to scare you, just warning against falling too hard too fast.

Posted by Choobak (Member # 7083) on :

I agree plenty with you. I won't show that for the moment. Maybe never. In reality, i am too shy for that, and i don't want to be too speed. That what i wonder how it will happen. The most bizarre thing is that she made the first step. Not me. I have just continued by a date. Way is long and i stay in doubt.

Posted by twinky (Member # 693) on :

If she made the first step then that's a good sign. I trust you're making arrangements for another date. [Smile] [Smile]

Posted by Choobak (Member # 7083) on :

Posted by Choobak (Member # 7083) on :

She said she write me. She didn't. I stop. I hurt me by this. Girls, get out of my life !

Posted by Corwin (Member # 5705) on :

Ugh, not again. Man, calm down. Take a deep breath, and CALM. DOWN.

What did she say exactly? When was she supposed to write?

Posted by Choobak (Member # 7083) on :

I'm calm. I just notice some details... Tuesday, she firstly ignore me as i was a wind. i was going to invit her to a dance, she asked a dance to another guy.
Secondly, she didn't talk with me unless she went out. And because, i went in the opposite direction and i said her "au revoir".
That's when she said she write me to have her address.
And finally, she went out with another guy...

So I may be in the wrong. And when i write all that, i admit there is other good point.
I hate doubt.
But i won't make anything more. I suggested her two dates of piano concerts. Maybe she answered, maybe not.
