Anyone know of any video editing software that can remove the lettering at the bottom of a video, such that might be created if someone has left the datetime label on the video during recording? I'm not talking about cropping the movie file. It happens I want to keep the full movie. But I have seen ripped video that had a narrow blurred rectange that was very ignorable that had somehow replaced such writing. Something like that.
Anyone?

Well if you want a blurry rectangle ...
You can import your video into Adobe After Effects, and put a blurred white rectangle over it, and then render it out.

Thank you.
Two questions.
Does that rectangle appear in every frame automatically or do I have to do it for each one cause, you know, that's not possible.
When it's rendered out, what appears in it's place? Is it blurry rectangle that somewhat matches the background?
Am I asking for too much? I've seen the results.

After Effects does things in layers, like Photoshop. On the time line you can stretch out the layer to make it show up in only the times that you want. So you just position the layer over what times you want it to show up, and it'll show up .
AE also has a preview box, so when it renders out it'll show up like that. You can mess with the blending modes to get it to look how you want.

No problem If you need any help with anything let me know - I'm not an AE master but I've used it a couple of times before.
