Well, at least it's Choobak's first chess game on Hatrack! [Razz] But it's unlikely to resume very soon since it's 4AM over here. Which means I should get some sleep too... Neah, sleep is overrated! [Big Grin]

And I've played for 12 years! I'm only 15!

Who's winning?

And, more importantly, what does the board look like?

Posted by Choobak (Member # 7083) on :

Nobody wins until the end of the game, Quid. I have a little advance with two pawns and a better pawn structure. But it still is a long way to transform these advantages into victory. And a nulle may happened if i badly play.

Hum ! hum !

So !
After a fierce fight in the center, i'll kick the king in his last room my domination was total. The only way to King is to pray, and the suicid.
And that what he did. This coward used a perfid way to stop my brillant victory by a ridicul exchange of Queen. Irritating !

King, don't you remember what Han Solo said to the droids ? Never, Never irritate a wookiee if you like your harms. [Wink]

Can i change my move, please ?

Posted by King of Men (Member # 6684) on :

It's R for Rook, actually. Nobody ever said English made sense. [Smile] Certainly change your move, by all means.

Perhaps someone could do one of those nice pictures after Choobak makes his revised move, so we're sure everybody agrees on where all the pieces are?

Ok, it's done (as in: I asked Dag). By the way, if you are wondering what was I doing with my weird knight maneuvers (Na3-c4-a3-c2-e3), I was actually trying to bring it to g2 via c2-e1-g2 in order to exchange it with your dark square bishop. The plan was too slow though and I had to go to e3 instead of e1. [Big Grin]

Anyway, it was a very interesting game. I look forward to playing some more against you, but for now I'll try to finish those that are still active and see whether I'll play the position I got with Xav against mothertree, as she requested. [Hat]

Knight on the rim, future's grim - but in this case it actually controls more in that position.

Choobak, you there?

KoM, why don't you get an account on Dag's site? It's pretty cool, and he keeps adding interesting features all the time. The latest thing is forking a game so you can play the same position against an opponent of your choice - or any player that accepts the challenge, if you have no preferences. Pretty cool for replaying from where you think you went wrong in a lost game for example! Or for trying a daring sacrifice that you didn't know for sure it was going to work and instead went for the quite line. So, what do you say?

Posted by Choobak (Member # 7083) on :

Sorry ! I didn't look that you played.
I wondered when you move, in fact. [Smile]

So As i am at work, i can play after. Sorry again.

[publicity] See, this is why you should move to Dag's site: you get e-mail notification for the moves! [/publicity]

Hey, Corwin ! I know that, i recall you. But i like make this thread jump on top of the forum after he get down in the limb of Hatrack [Razz]
