My birthday has me freaked out, too. 20 seems so much older than 19. I feel like I should have suddenly become mature and grown up. And I haven't.
Thank you!

You're right, you haven't suddenly become more mature and grown up.

I know what you mean. The only distinct moment I felt more "grown-up" was when I graduated high school, which presumably you have already done. Twenty? Well, it probably looks worse to judges, but other than that I was still immature. But you do grow up quite a bit this year. At least, I did. For me, nineteen was scarier than twenty. My last year of being a teenager? Oh shit. First year of being twenty(-something)? Well, I looked back on how much I grew the previous year, and was comforted. But I did grow up from twenty to twenty-one. So will you, hopefully more than me.
