I've been fascinated by this for the last several days. I actually bookmarked it a couple of years ago when Mei Xiang was in season, but she and Tian Tian never mated then. This new panda cub was born on July 9th, and there's a running journal of Mei Xiang's activities since.

Baby pandas are so cute.

Oh, I didn't know they had new pandas at the national zoo. That makes me feel less sad about moving back east. (and for all but one or possibly two of you, yes this is the first I've mentioned it.)

ugh. Animal Planet wants you to install Real Player. I don't want to see it THAT bad!
