Does anyone have the Betty Crocker recipie for fettuchini alfredo?

I know it's parm cheese, butter,

But is it milk or cream and how much/ serving size!

I supposed to make dinner for 13 people tonight and won't be going home first.

Lighter Recipe

Not necessarily Betty Crocker...but there's a link to Betty Crocker on the page!

Another one.. not BC

All of the real betty crocker ones I've found (that aren't light) require payment.

Most recipes I've seen are equal parts butter and cream.

The Betty Crocker recipe I found is:
8 ounces uncooked fettuccine
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup whipping (heavy) cream
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Chopped fresh parsley

That recipe is designed for 6 3/4 c servings, so you'd want to double it. Depending on the structure of the meal (and your guests) you may even need to triple or quadruple it.

Isn't it odd that google didn't find that link with the query fettuchini alfredo recipie betty crocker?

Maybe my eyes just didn't notce.

I didn't find it when I searched for: betty crocker recipes alfredo

Instead, I found all of the links from my first post.

I didn't put in fettuccine, because I couldn't spell it.

The search that found it: betty crocker fettuccine alfredo

About the 4th link down.

Looks like you can't spell it either. [Wink] That's probably why. [Smile]

That lighter recipe looks good. I want to try it! [Big Grin]

I like that it looks easy! [Smile]

I've made fettuccine alfredo once before...and I think it was from a powder mix.

If I had known how EASY the real thing is, I woulda done that. Sheesh.

Edit: Oh, and the kind I made was sub-par.

Amusingly Katarain I did spell it right in google but misspelled it all the times I typed it here. I think the problem was something else I'd done when searching Oh well!*sigh*

*ponders making both a lighter veggie version and a typical version w/ chicken*

It's a great easy recipie to make I highly recommend it. [Smile] (even though it really is awful for you)

Well, sounds like a great night for you to invite me to dinner, Sarah. I am taking a break from Weight Watchers, and you are making a 15-pt a cup meal.
