I know Undeclared didn't get the cult following that Freaks & Geeks got. But I remember when it was on TV, and I loved it. Some of the funniest writing I can remember. In fact, one of the main reasons I bought F&G on DVD, sight unseen, is because I knew it was from the guy who made Undeclared.

So they're releasing Undeclared on DVD tomorrow, and I'm kind of excited. Just wondering if anyone else is there with me?

Second question: Am I the only one who, in the age of TV on DVD, has mixed feelings when a great show is cancelled after one season? Whether it's this one, F&G, Firefly, or any of the others, part of me is incredibly bent that I don't get more. But the other part likes the fact that there's a complete story in one box that you can start and finish in a day, and that will never be ruined by shark-jumping later seasons. Freaks and Geeks in particular: as much as I want more, I have to admit that the show could have gone on 10 more seasons and never have found a more satisfying ending. It's like a single flawless epic movie, and that can't be bad, right?

I really enjoyed it as well, actually. I'm not sure if I liked it enough to buy it now, but I'll definitely consider it.

I love Undeclared....Fox kind of killed the show by never really giving it a night and time slot. Just like F&G it was a show that may have been before its time or there are just too few of us to appreciate these sitcoms
