"The Skeletal Key" is a surprisingly effective supernatural thriller--hardly scary--but it'll hook you and has quite a few decent plot turns, and probably Kate Hudson's best performance since Almost Famous. I don't know why more than half the critics panned it...it's really a clever movie. =D

"40 Year old Virgin" is both a sophomoric sex comedy AND a romantic comedy. I really cringed when I saw the trailer for it but the decent reviews convinced me to see otherwise--it's worth your time. Even though the humor is occasionally overdone the sweet parts more than make up for it. =D

"Red Eye" is getting good reviews too--I'm off to see it in couple of hours. (When your sibling can get you in for free, you'll end up seeing a lot. =D )

"Brothers in Arm" looks good too.

Why do they do this? Most of the summer was dry and all of a sudden there's more good movies you than can see! [Wink]

I'm looking forward to Brother's Grimm which comes out this Friday. Hopefully it'll be good.

*pssst* (It's Skeleton.)

I thought Red Eye looked interesting. Let us know how it turns out. [Smile]

kethupqueen, by virtue of being too lazy to edit out my mistakes, it's Skeletal. So you're wrong.

"""I'm looking forward to Brother's Grimm which comes out this Friday. Hopefully it'll be good."""

Same!

And of course Serenity almost a month from now...

(Because you like to flaunt your ignorance and laziness?)

And I suppose you like to flaunt your lack of manners.

You're the one who said you were lazy and therefore I was wrong. I think you need an attitude adjustment yourself before you start criticizing my manners.

The Skeletal Key is an entirely different film. It's a taut courtroom drama in which the entire case comes down to the testimony of one pivotal surprise witness. And the witness is played by Lara Flynn Boyle.

Honey, I was kidding. Henceforth all my posts shall be accompanied by ridiculous amounts of Graemlins so you won't misunderstand or needlessly get offended. [Wave] [Taunt] [Monkeys] [Big Grin]

Score.

I know you were kidding, but I found your sense of humor lacking and a little offensive.

Please don't patronize me. I bite.

I'm excited about "40 Year Old Virgin."

It is written and directed by Judd Apatow, who wrote a lot of good episodes of "Freaks and Geeks."

Seth Rogen, who played Ken Miller in F&G, is also in the movie. [Cool]

Your displeasure is entirely subjective, and if you can't comprehend why and how your posts in this thread are rude and hostile, then quite frankly you deserve to be patronized, as you sound like nothing but an immature child compensating for self-esteem issues.

The reason I've been visiting this forum on and off for a while is for the startling absence of people like you. Thanks!

Excuse me? You're the one who started the childish hostility. I try to respond as politely as possible to people, while still making my point. My point was that you were being rude. If you can't see how you were rude, I see no reason to interact with you again.

Don't make me make you guys see Cat Woman.

Brothers Grimm and Red Eye look interesting. Looking forward to Serenity more so than any other movies lately though [Frown]

If there was any thread I did not expect to devolve into a flame war, it was this one.

Shows what I know. [Smile]

Brothers Grimm looks terrible from what it could have been. It looks like a fantasy bug hunt, where it could have been more.

And my point is, you had nothing to contribute to this thread except a catty correction. And considering your subsequent posts, it doesn't sound like you have anything to contribute at all. Nice chatting with you. =D

What a war it's been! Ketchupqueen was all like, that's not the title of the movie. And I was like, yo, it's the title of the movie cause I ain't changing it. And then Ketchupqueen was all like, dude, I don't like you. And then I had lunch.
