Monday my wife Cindy went into the doctor to have her Thyroid byopsied. The results are inconclusive. That means that sometime shortly the doctor is going to go in and take it out, just to be safe.
No one is mentioning the C word, but Cancer of the Thyroid is not a major problem--removal and medication makes it not a big problem.
Still nobody likes surgery. There are too many possibilities for problems, so any good wishes you have left over, send them our way. Thanks.

Yuck. She is in for some misery ahead. Sympathy to her. But, she should be feeling great, once the Synthroid gets adjusted properly.
Until then, well, treat her extra kind.

I discovered that while waiting for the results of a thyroid uptake scan. It's amazing how good a job the human brain can do of scare itself.
The synthetic thyroid hormone really works, too. If there's a cronic condition to get, it's hypo- or hyper thyroid.
Still, until it's taken care of, you'll likely worry. Just remember lots of us are praying for you all.
