Hello,

Been a silent observer on these forums for almost a year, but only started posting recently (and only recently started reading the "Books, Films, Food and Culture" section of it).

From what I've seen, people here tend to be clustered in very specific areas of the world (or are so well known that it doesn't matter), and I was wondering: anyone in Seattle? or Hawaii, for that matter?

And does OSC ever come to the west coast? [Frown]

Welcome to Hatrack. There are plenty of people in the Pacific Northwest, and I'm sure there will be another gathering at some point.

Um, I don't know - we seem to be pretty much everywhere. Although Asia is grossly underrepresented. [Dont Know]

Glad to meet you. I live in the U District, about seven blocks away from UWash (but no, I'm not a student there).
