Though I don't post here nearly as often as I once did I just wanted to let you all know that I'm being deployed again. This will make tour no.2 so I'm a little excited. Though I will be going to Afghanistan this time around. I'm looking forward to the cold weather and the wonderful mountains. I have to admit I've always loved the look of the landscape there after seeing some pictures from a friend of mine in the 187th Infantry ( Rakkasans 101st ABN Division).
This time I will be much more prepared than the first time, not to mention have my own soldiers. Hopefully I will be able to do right by them, I know I've been drilling them into the ground. I hope everyone else that is here is doing well. Take care all.

Thanks for letting us know Black Fox. If you're able to, check in now and then while you're over there.

Ack! Well I hope you can find some enjoyment in it. The extra pay should be nice. I'm done with deployments for at least the next 4 years. Bring some photos back if you can. I still have to go through mine.

Good luck, what unit are you going with? My ROTC teacher just got back from afghanistan. He brought back the bayonet for an AK-47. That was kind of random by hey, what the heck.
