Among normal people (I hear), blintzes are served as an appetizer, side dish, or main course, depending. Dessert blintzes do exist, but they're usually draped in chocolate syrup and filled with custard or ice cream. (They're pretty much dessert crepes that have been wrapped into a bundle and called a blintz. )

It's a matter of my hunger level really. And a matter of getting up.

Well, if you're hungry and don't feel like getting up, why didn't you just say so? I'd be glad to fix you something. Anything you are hankering for besides the fries? I'd be glad to cook for you, kojabu!

I'm trying to decide between Texas Hash and 20-minute Egg-Drop Chili for dinner.
Or something else.

Hmm, not really, I've had some of my staple foods (pasta and salad) today. I'm kind of just craving the salt of the fries.

We're having the Egg-Drop Chili, with cheese and sour cream. It's pretty decent for taking 20 minutes to make (once I decided on it.)

Tante, I'm now eating fries.

Baklava from a good Armenian bakery.
Our friend brought it for us when she came over to practice. She's very nice.
She also makes excellent home-made bread and soups. I can't wait for her next "come-eat-my-food-and-jam-together" party.
