My problem:

I have a 256 MB Lexar Memory Stick Pro Duo for my Sony Cybershot digital camera. The stick was almost full on Friday night, when I downloaded everything onto my computer and then dragged them to trash, to free my memory stick. I thought I was being so smart and clever and time-saving, but when I put my memory stick back in my camera, I still only had 8 photos left, but now I couldn’t view any. Does anyone know of any way to reset the memory stick, or to fix it so I can take more than 8 photos at a time?

Thanks so much.

Just post answers, I'll give them to her. Thanks!

Buying a new digital camera is a pretty expensive solution. This may be more cost-effective.

If she didn't empty her trash its quite possible the photos just weren't deleted. Going back to the computer, putting the stick in, and re-deleting everything may work, provided the trash is emptied.

If that doesn't work, look for a hidden folder on the stick called .trashes or the like and delete that.

She says it's working, and she loves you.

Thank you all. [Smile]
