I understand that OSC won these back to back. What is the difference between them and has anyone else won both in consecutive years?

The Hugo is voted on by fans. The Nebula is voted on by other science fiction and fantasy writers.

Of course, technically, it wasn't a sequel. It was more like the first one, with Ender's game being the prequel. And the two books are about as different as they could have gotten.
