...on their toothpicks.

Eat more penguins!

Oh, come on, they're cute!

That's so great. Definitely going in my next party.

Great. Now I'm nauseated. [Razz]

[Razz]

Although honestly, after all that hard work to make them, I wouldn't have the heart to eat them.

You know, if I were having friends over, and wanted to serve olives and cheese, I'd have bowls or plates of different kinds of olives and some different tasty cheese, with some crackers to go with.

My family has strict instructions to either shoot me or have me committed for treatment, if I ever start doing such cute things as making olive penguins.

Also, if I can't stop talking about our fabric softener, or how shiny the new floor wax makes our floors.

I have been known to make cupcakes in ice cream cones and frost them to resemble soft-serve ice cream in a cone.

And to cut hot dogs into octopuses, put eyes on with ketchup or mustard, and serve over mini-shells cooked with veggies and tossed with an alfredo sauce.

But we own a Roomba instead of a regular vacuum because I hate to vacuum (and my aunt is generous.) And our dishes are never all done, even though it's earthquake country. *hangs head*

Does that mean I'm safe?

Definitely not!

Oh wait, that was an "f" not an "n" . . . ok, then maybe.

Maybe it's 'cause I'm tired, but what? [Confused]

Edit: Yup, I'm tired. Just got it.

No, I never claimed to be sane. [Razz] Just not a Stepford wife!

You want I should explain before or after I duck and run? [Wink]

Maybe I'll just run now.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Eh, no offense taken.

I gave up on "sane" a long time ago. [Razz]

As did I. But I still try not to poke the bears.

Generally. [Big Grin]

Uh... Ahem.

My dad used to make pancakes in the shape of mickey mouse. Basically three small pancakes poured close enough to each other that they blend. It is not as time consuming as some of this other stuff, but I appreciated it.

A dad making Mickey Mouse pancakes for his kids is just sweet.

A deranged hostess torturing canned olives with cream cheese is a little scary.

My daddy made Mickey pancakes for us, too! [Big Grin]

I make shaped pancakes for my little boy. I have a squeeze bottle that I put the batter in and then use it to make lots of shapes like trains, rockets, snowmen (easy), and he also likes little drips for "baby pancakes"
