So i just saw the Monster Squad for the first time, and let me tell you, i've got some bones to pick with that film.

First off, why on Earth is the rebel kid friends with the misfit loser dorks? That is NEVER explained. It's not as if they met the first time, the kid was friends with Horace before this.

Second, why is the little girl at the end strong enough to hold Frankenstein away from the blackhole that is lifting cars and uplifting roots, but a 4 year old girl can hold on tight AND ground herself to the bench?

Third, why didn't the wolfman shoot himself with silver bullets?

Fourth, Why did Frankenstein befriend the little girl? As far as i can tell, she never endeared herself to him in any way that we saw.

Fifth, Why was the mummy hanging out in Eugene's closet in the first place? That's just stupid.

Sixth, How does spooky german dude know so much about monsters? And why is the viewer supposed to just assume he's Monster Guy because he has a tattoo on his hand?

Seventh, Isn't Dracula supposed to only come out at night? What the hell was he flying around in broad daylight when leaving the airplane?

Eighth, This movie blew.

that is all...

Lindsay just said that Frankenstein was not evil. This is true, but he was ressurected by Dracula to kill the children. If Castlevania on NES taught me anything, it's that frankenstein is a bad guy, dammit.
