Hello everyone, just wanted to let you know that Hobbes is alive and doing well here in Northwest Washington. Just a reminder that E. Hobbes is on an LDS mission... so he can't really chat with you all, but I can! We are enjoying his keen wit and slightly off center personality! He is a great addition to our community, and is working well, and serving his Father in Heaven. If you have any messages, please let me know and I'll pass them on to him. Live well, be happy!

Welcome to Hatrack! Thank you for the good tidings. [Smile]

Please tell him that ketchupqueen says hi and wants to know if he's having trouble finding anything he needs, cooking-wise, or needs any spices sent to him. [Smile]

Oh, and the Post Office apparently lost the first letter I sent him. [Grumble] Please tell him I apologize for not writing another yet, but this morning sickness is screwing up my late nights, which is when I usually sit down and write "real letters". I will try to write again soon.

Tell him AK misses him and is going to write soon.

Welcome to Hatcrack!

Say hello to him from quidscribis, please, and I'm glad to hear he's doing well.

He says thank you so much, you are very kind... but he still has lots of the wonderful Indian spices that you sent previously. However, people up here eat bear and cougar meat... so if you have any suggestions for that, they would be most appreciated!

He is glad that he is still remembered.... two years is long, but also short... our son is returning from his two year mission in two more days..... it was long, but suddenly, short....all those things we procrastinated doing have now met their deadline, so to speak

ketchupqueen, Hobbes says congrats on your pregnancy.. he is happy for you, but not your sickness... and okay on the lost letter, just mail it with the new one!!! all is well

I wrote it by hand. I will type the next one for safekeeping!

And I'll look up some wild game recipes for him and send them with the next letter. [Smile]

You could let Hobbes know that another Mooseling is on the way, too. We all miss him and look forward to his return.

Tell him I say hello, and wish him well. [Smile]

He is missed.

Not that it matters, but I would appreciate it if you would tell him that SteveRogers or Captain America, whichever you may prefer, is finding Calvin and Hobbes to be rather boring without Hobbes.

Hi Hobbes! *waves* We miss you and your smiley faces. I hope you're doing well. [Smile]

Imagine going 2 years with no internet! That must feel very odd to him. I know he's doing great work on his mission, though.

Ummm, do you guys call him Elder Hobbes? [Big Grin]

Welcome to Hatrack, caselko! Tell Hobbes that Shigosei says hello and misses all his long informational posts on bicycling (and other things too).

Please tell Hobbes hello from me and that I miss him. Also, I had a baby 14 weeks early, but she's doing great.

Mrs. M, when I send him my next letter, I'd be happy to include news and pictures of Aerin. [Smile]

Is it bad that I wondered for a full 10 minutes why they *shouldn't* call him Elder Hobbes?

I must be missing something. [Dont Know]

I think they were giggling at the fact that they just assumed that Hobbes is his real name in which case, "Elder Hobbes" would be just fine. [Smile]

I wonder where Hobbes is in Northwestern Washington. I could probably go visit him.
