Funny thing is that my galaxy 3 fleet, a very small one, was attacked as well. I got a third moon from it too.

Heh, funny how sometimes the entire attack is ruined because the defender got a moon.

Best part about it is that there was a 1% moonchance.
I got one of the other moons on a 2% moonchance too.

The a few people in my alliance have that talent, hit someone with a low moonchance and give it to them. Needless to say, they feels its more of a curse then a gift.

They might be, but I might just go it solo....almost all the major hits on me were based on alliance reasons. People I hit for my allinace came back and hit me, and I got little to mo support from others to get the res back....
