I think he's LDS. I pretty sure the artist is a he.

About 5 years ago there was a display of his work in the basement of the St. George tabernacle. Some of his paintings are almost caricatures of cities. I know he has one of St. George and one of Salt Lake. I think they make puzzles out of the paintings, as well. Anyone have any ideas?
