Recently, for English class, I wrote a short story about Mary, the mother of Jesus. It's considered historical/religious fiction. I'd like to see if I can get it published, but I don't know of any publishers that publish teenage work. Can anyone help me?

If your piece is good, your age is irrelevant and no one will ever ask unless/until it gets to the point of a byline.

Instead, look for what market would be appropriate for the piece.

I don't know of any Christian markets publishing fictional shorts; but you might take a look in your library for Writers Market 2005. You can start your search there.

Or, if you're specifically looking for Christian markets, you might try a more focused approach. [Wink]
