I sent Jenny some baby things I'd knit for her a while ago, and got a lovely thank-you note in the mail today. She asked me to pass along the baby news to Hatrack, so here you go:

After about a week of "pre-labor" and then several days of nothing, my labor really got going at about 3:30 a.m. We got to the hospital, and I was 9 cm dilated! The doctor came, I pushed twice, and that was it. I was in labor about 2 HOURS! My 7-year-old was there for the birth and was able to witness everything. Corbin Michael is a sweet, easy baby. He weighed 8 lbs 8.3 oz and was born at 5:35 a.m. on November 25th.
Then, in the P.S., she says "I'm recovering most beautifully. Big Sister's a WONDER!"
