Ic, Cor, Mango and Banana; Kwea and JenniK and J's parents; and Zan:

Just wanted you guys to know how much fun it was getting to spend time with you earlier this month. We really enjoyed our time in Florida and the highlights included our time with you.

Favorite memories: Rainbow using Kwea's head for a drum during the Candlelight Processional. Sorry about your glasses, Rob. [Frown] Mango and Banana attempting to split Rainbow in two by way of a light pole (that was very funny -- your girls are so cute, and Rainy had a great time with them). Zan and Rain's head to head growling stare-out. The picture for that turned out very cute.

Thanks again. If any of your are ever up in the PacNW, let us know. We'd like to reciprocate the hospitality. [Smile]

I won that you know. Don't let her tell you different.

I had a great time hanging out with you and your family.

Did Christian ride The Mummy?

No...none of us got on The Mummy. We did get back to Universal a couple of days later, but didn't make it to The Mummy. Rainy liked the Barney playground a lot and loved the show. We spent pretty much the whole time there while the rest of the fam (my SiL and her husband were with us by then) wandered elsewhere. We did get Christian on Space Mountian, though, which is a really big step for him. He loved it. I think he's only a year or so from having the courage to do Dueling Dragons and/or The Hulk.

I'll get pictures up as soon as I can find our camera. I've been buried since we got back, as my laptop somehow corrupted its ability to get on the internet. I had to reinstall Windows to get it working again, by which time I was a day and a half behind at work. [Frown] Good thing we had such a great time on vacation. There are times I wonder why we came home. [Big Grin] It's frigid here.

The title of this thread gives me a mental picture of you standing on a beach spraying cans of deodorant and hairspray into the atmosphere, dancing and laughing with glee.

But then, I'm a little odd.

I was picturing you standing underneath a hole in the ozone layer and getting skin cancer.

o_O @ AFR

-o-

We had a great time too. [Smile] I'm sorry didn't get to meet up with you at IoA. I hope someone passed our regrets along to you, but I didn't want to wake you guys up the night before, and I slept in late on Tuesday once I knew we weren't going, so there didn't seem to be a point to calling to let you know we weren't there!

(In case nobody told you and you haven't looked in the other thread, Mango's tummy started bothering her, and that made us really afraid that it could be something we could pass along to you guys, especially Rain, so we called it off. (So in the end, I did burn a sick day, and didn't even get to have any fun doing it! [Grumble] )

I thought the CFCs made for a warmer vacation via global warming. Glad I wasn't the only one, Speed and afr. [Smile]

I caught your post the night before, so I had a pretty good idea you wouldn't be coming.

If I didn't mention it before, Rain is adorable. Tell Christian I take him on at Men in Black anytime. And I was especially happy to introduce Ross to the art of meditative roller coastering.

I had a complete blast, and my glasses are fine. That was one of my favorie memories as well, your daughter was quite a trip. [Big Grin]

The rest of the family was pretty cool too. [Wink] [Big Grin]

I was very glad I had the chance to hang out with you all, and I have some very cool memories of you to remember when I read your posts.

Now you just need to get that hubby of yours to register on Hatrack! [Wink]

Um, nope, Speed, AFR, and morbo, I was right there with y'all. [Big Grin] Especially with the cans of deoderant. Yikes!

Joe, yeah, Zan told us that you'd posted Mango's upset tummy. No worries. Sorry you didn't get to spend your sick day out having fun. [Frown]

Zan, Ross said that the whole zen roller coastering was weird but totally different. He definitely enjoyed going with you and Rob.

Rob, I doubt Ross will ever get into the online community thing. If you didn't notice, he's not much of a sit-at-a-desk kind of person. He's actually not much of a sit-still-in-one-place person. He can do it for fishing, but that's about it. [Smile]

As for the erosion of the ozone layer and its effect on our vacation, we really only had one truly sunny day there. The rest were overcast and a couple days were downright chilly. So, no skin cancer this time. [Wink]

Well, he mentioned to me that he had been thinking about joining for a while, and now that he knew a few of us personally he probably would.....
