According to this. Now I just have to figure out what side of the canal I live on. I'm assuming this means no more curfew for the French Quarter and Uptown and such, since we were observing a 2am-6am curfew, I believe, not a midnight-6am curfew.

I kinda figured any NO curfews would be of the 6AM to 2PM, not the other way around.

Congrats!

Awesome. Especially since I'm thinking of ringing in 2006 in New Orleans.

Curfews suck.

I don't think they could've enforced the curfew for New Year's, anyway, in all honesty.

And according to Nagin, although curfew is still in effect for the lower ninth and whatnot, it's not as though cops will be tracking people down and kicking them out of their homes.

I'm a little confused. Isn't a curfew about forcing people to stay in their homes?

The curfew in the areas in which it was just lifted was for people to stay in their homes. The curfew in the lower ninth was that people could go visit their homes until curfew, and then they had to leave the area.

It was divided by zip code.
