With all the threads that start on "Mike's Forum" whenever Hatrack goes down, I thought it only fair to start one up here about the beloved SR suddenly being kaputsky.

<thrums fingers> And I had just started getting into the 2350 campaign. I should've gotten in on the ground floor of that one.

Anyone else having issues? It just hangs and never loads for me.

Don't shush me. I'll put a Donnager up your nose.

And that would hurt since it's all burning hot (well, maybe not hot anymore) but broken up and spiky

I can't reach sakeriver!

I think MPH is trying to steal my monies!

I am very sad that Sakeriver is down.

You're very sad, and suddenly very rich because you stole all mie monete preziosi.

I am getting all itching and pimply now. This is not good.

Withdrawal stinks. [Frown]

A link to Mike's Forum that seems to be currently working.

Posted by Scott R (Member # 567) on :

You're the devil, CT.

Posted by ClaudiaTherese (Member # 923) on :

I know. And I wear the blue dress, too.

Posted by saxon75 (Member # 4589) on :

I'm working on it. This one is particularly strange because there appears to be nothing wrong with the server.

Posted by kmbboots (Member # 8576) on :

Thanks for the link, CT.

Posted by Scott R (Member # 567) on :

Well, the good news is that now that Overlook is back on, I can waste my time with that, rather than refreshing Mike's forum every 10 seconds.

Posted by ClaudiaTherese (Member # 923) on :

[Oops! The other campaign. [Frown] ] is what I needed, anyway.

Edited to add: No problem, kmboots. I figured the backdoor entrance might be useful for those who were having trouble getting in the standard way.

I had forgotten to bookmark it, myself. Fixed that. [Smile]

If it's any help (I doubt it is), I was getting a 'Connection has been refused' error at first; now I'm getting a 'Connection timed out.'

I think this is a deliberate result of a conspiracy to bring exiles and half-exiles back to Hatrack. Post people! Bring back the golden age!

You know you want to.

I don't believe that there is (or was ever) an objective Golden Age, as Golden Ages seems (to me, more or less) to always be specific to a group of people. There is a new group of people now. Let there be a new Golden Age! [Smile]

(And I will wander by the sunless sea and take my rest on endless spots of greenery. [Wink] )

Now that was fully complete.

Posted by ClaudiaTherese (Member # 923) on :

Dick! How were you, that is, if it's not what you didn't mean it to be.

Posted by kmbboots (Member # 8576) on :

Sorry. Can't post here. Too busy necking on the Is Sex Important thread - and scaring the children.

Besides I've already killed the liberals thread and seriously bugged people on the 2 minutes thread. Already a busy day!

Your smiley killed the forum, PC.

Posted by TheTick (Member # 2883) on :

Samurai smilies are known to assassinate entire forums for not giving the proper respect.

Posted by Primal Curve (Member # 3587) on :

Great, now I have to draw the smiley committing seppuku.

Ok, that was funny. I particularly like that he says "We who are about to die salute you" (or whatever).

It's actually more of a sigh...

KRISTEN gets a welcome thread?

Clearly an anti-Lissa conspiracy at work...

*sob*

If it's any comfort, Lissa, I've never had a welcome thread anywhere. [Grumble]

Bah. JS and all other ports but port 80 are blocked at work. I could use port forwarding, but then I'd get my ass kicked to the curb for opening up a security hole at work.

I need my wine river! Will it be able to with Mike out of town for a few days?

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

Chill out, sake's back. And it isn't usually something Mike can fix, anyway, it's a problem with his host and gets fixed in a few minutes regardless. [Smile]

Go over to JT's for awhile, then....

Posted by Scott R (Member # 567) on :

I didn't even realize JT had a forum.

Posted by saxon75 (Member # 4589) on :

I opened a ticket about 45 minutes ago, and they've been working on it for at least 25 of those minutes, which is unusually long. I am starting to wonder if it's my software that's screwing things up, or if it's someone else on the same server. No good way to know, unfortunately.

In the meantime, you can all just reminisce about all the good times we used to have complaining about GreNME being down.

Posted by Scott R (Member # 567) on :

Oddly, I was never part of those discussions.

I'm an outcast, a persecuted member of a hated minority. AND I'm Mormon.

I have martyr tattooed to my forehead.

Posted by The Pixiest (Member # 1863) on :

Apparently I'm not welcome on GreNME. So I'll just have to wait for sakeriver to come back.

Edit--now I'm in, but it's taking ages to load each page.
