We have a vehicle and the title, but the VIN numbers don't match. Does anyone know what we need to do to fix this?

Where did you get the title? If from a car dealer, they should fix it. If from the MVA, they should fix it.

I have a similar problem. I have no idea where the pink slip is to a car I want to get rid of... and I don't know what or how to get a new one. Or if I can just give it to a junkyard without the pink slip...

There are methods to file for a lost title. I would think you would get better results that way. Just go to the license branch.
