I'm not just talking those songs that get stuck in your head, I'm talking about songs/albums that pretty much go along with an extended period of your life, Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz style. So far I've had:
1.Symphony X's - The Odyssy age 0-19 2.In Flames' - Soundtrack to Your Escape age 20-almost 21
If I think about it more I'm sure I can break it down further, but I think that for now, anyone that has actually listened to those two albums can sort of feel what I've gone through. How about you?

Hmm, I'd have to say:
Spawn the Soundtrack (age 8-12) Korn Greatest Hits 1 (age 13-17) Green Day American Idiot (age 18-now)

I'd say:
I Am Sam soundtrack (14-15) Maroon 5 -Songs About Jane (17-now)
I can't really think of any particular albums/ soundtracks prior to that specifically, just a lot of Louis & Ella, and various others.

You realize Cats in the Cradle makes me cry, and so does Time of your Life (which I believe you adopted at 16 but I'll let you win).
I don't have a theme song

Are there any good songs about procrastination?

The collected soundtracks from Cowboy Bebop. The mix of various styles of jazz, blues, and rock fit almost any mood for me.

Disturbed-The Sickness (age 12-now)
even though I don't listen to that album as much recently, I seem to never get tired of it.
when I listen to that album it brings back really enjoyable memories from my adolescence.

Awesome taste Sacare. So many of those are on my lists of favorite albums.I ahve worn out my REM and Counting Crows albums. I love, love, love the Jushua Tree album but I don't find myself playing it as much as the others. I don't like Sheryl Crow at all but like BNL. Willie Nelson is always a favorite. He gets fairly good rotation in my ipod. I've never heard of Jamie Cullum but I like so much of the rest of your list I may have to give it a try.
I don't know that my life has a soundtrack. I am not quite that introspective most of the time. Currently, I am overly into romantic ballads because they all remind me of someone I love who is living far away at the moment.

For the past few years - Snow Patrol - "Final Straw."
Actually, all of the Snow Patrol albums.
For the past year and a half, it's been the Disturbed single, "Stricken."
High school - Mudvayne - "The End of All Things to Come" and Splender - "Halfway Down the Sky" and "To Whom It May Concern."
Those last two still apply.

Well, I've been meaning to write one but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

definitely none of the ones they play on the radio because those are way too overplayed!
