A simple game, really.

Pick someone on Hatrack that you don't know real well, but has done or said something recently that affected you - they made you think, made you feel better about yourself, helped you recognize a problem you were having - whether they meant to or not. Send them a private message telling them about it. Post here when you're done (you do not need to explain who or why).

Rules:

1) No one you know in real life. Try to avoid people you know well, period.
2) Nothing negative, derogatory or inflammatory, please.
3) If the person does not have a way to be contacted in their profile (either an e-mail address or a thru-Hatrack e-mail form), feel free to use this thread to post whatever you want to say, if you don't mind it being public.
4) If you would like to say something positive anonymously, e-mail it to me (via link in profile) and indicate who you would like it sent to. I'd ideally like to see no one sending something anonymously, but I figured I'd cover my bases.
5) Be as specific or as broad as you want: anything from "So&so, I think of you strike me as a really, really awesome person" to "So&so, I really appreciate what you said in ______ thread..."

I'll start. I've sent my e-mail!

Bump. I know SOMEONE has to have something nice to say to someone, or have the bad blood threads taken all the caring out of you already? [Smile]

All right, I sent an email.

Ha, I got an e-mail without having seen this thread... thought it was rather out of the blue! Now it makes more sense. The person didn't post here though...
