Does anyone know anything about Dilaudid? I was given it at the ER over the past 2 days and it didn't really do anything for the pain. What is it?

I never knew how to spell it, but it's a prescription narcotic. I had two sugeries a few years ago, and when morphine and percocet didn't work they prescribed dilotted. It works very well for me. It's so interesting how different people react to the same medication.

It's the first time that I've ever even heard of it. Never had it before but it just didn't work. Vicodin doesn't work for me either. Guess I just have a high tolerance. Who knows. Thanks for the info, rivka.
