I am looking for a calendar program to have on my computer where I can enter dates and it will open on start up so I can be reminded of items that day. The ole pen and paper calendar isn't working for me but I am on the computer enough that a program that can remind me of things would be helpful.

Free programs would be my first choice but I would be willing to pay a little if the program was user friendly and had what I needed.

My mom has a program that does popup notices of everything she needs to do. She swears by it. I'll ask her what it's called.

I just got one called HalfMoon Calendar. It seems to work all right so far, and it was pretty easy to figure out. Let me find a link.

Edit: Here.

MS Outlook does that, and comes with most Windows machines. Do you have it installed?

Google Calendar should have the same capability.

If she did that she'd have to come up with a creative way that sight reading music could go wrong. I've thought of a couple, but none have been clever enough to bother posting.

Gmail calendar is amazing for stuff like this, and free. You can arrange to have a text message sent to your phone to remind you, or to have an e-mail sent, or to have a window pop up on your computer.
