Is it just my imagination or does the person narrating the first movie have a New Zealand accent? *laugh*

The entire site seems to be a mixture of writing in an "enchanted" style, and the total opposite- including problems in grammar! Especially Here

I've got to say I love the thatch roofs (though I'd like to know what they're acutally made of and how "green" it really is.) I think I might stick with real thatch if I were building a home lke that. The houses are a little... over the top some ways. But the area is gorgeous. I wonder how the kids who live there are going to feel about it when they grow up, though.

It looks gorgeous, but it's unbelievably expensive. And I thought all the rejection of the modern world in favor of the idyllic nineteenth century UK was a bit over the top.

Over the top, as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure it will be lovely; I also suspect that no authentic, unruly English-style cottage gardens will be tolerated, despite all the talk on the website of encouraging individual artistic expression and so forth!

I would be happy to live off the beaten path in my own hobbit house. I don't think I could handle living in a magical gated community fully of weirdos.

If all the Hobbit holes were like Bag End sure. Though Bag End was extremely expensive by Hobbit standards to build.

I wouldn't mind retiring to a nice Hobbit hole somewhere...though I'd want a skylight, and maybe a deck on top of the hole...and a view of Lake Evendom.
