I know we've had a thread like this in the past, but I can't find it or remember what it was called. So I'm gonna go ahead and start a new one.
Are there any songs with lyrics that are unusual/particularly clever or just really speak to you? I've been listening to a lot of Eve 6 lately and that had some of what, I think anyway, are the most amazing lyrics in their songs. For example:
The first one I just think is really clever, and the second really kinda speaks to me right now.

The rule (hatrack, not societal/legal) is no more than two lines of copyrighted material, iirc. You may want to edit those down and just link to the lyrics.

Wow, I was under the impression it was a coupla paragraphs. Ok, you know copyright law is getting absurd when posting song lyrics on an internet forum has to be restricted like that. There's just something very wrong with that... what are they gonna do next? Not let us sing to ourselves?
That's no bash on OSC or you Papa, that's a bash on the state of things now that OSC feels he has to do that.
EDIT: That also explains why I couldn't find any of the old ones...
