Okay so I go to this place called the "Vault" a youth center on Ste Charles.

So one thursday as Im being driven by my friends (slowly trying to avoid involving parents in my personal life) and we stop to get Pizza at "Little Casears" I notice a sign sayig theyr elooking for new workers. I fill out an application form and hand it in.

And they called and want me to come in tomorrow for 3!

Problems: Now my dad is complaining how it is too far away to be driven and that he wants my resume to hand to people he "knows" who are closer.

Grr, I finally get a job and he complains, he also cant seem to grasp that there's a thing called a bus and that Im working it out with my frind so that I can crash at his place on wensday nights.

Darn parents, they always get in the way! [Wink]

Good luck either way.

Good deal, Blayne. [Cool]

Blayne, why don't you start a blog?

Dude, Orincoro, what's Hatrack for?

Besides, he's got a blog.

You are livin' the dream man! Testing video games, free pizza -- I wonder where your interests will lead you next!

Enjoy!

lol.

Blayne, congratulations on the new job, and on figuring out ways to get yourself there and back without relying on dad.

Well, I just get the feeling that if everyone used it the way Blayne does... well you see what I mean. Not all of it, but threads like this... come on.

Posted by Tante Shvester (Member # 8202) on :

When I don't like a particular thread, I don't hang out there. Blayne has enough fans here at Hatrack who care about what's going on in his life that we don't mind one of these updates now and again. If you're not into it, fine. It is easy enough to click elsewhere, no?

Must... click... every... thread!

Congrats on the new job. Hope you don't get too sick of pizza.

TS- I maintain my right to sour grapes. [Razz] I don't check every thread, but I don't see why it's cool for one person to have three similar threads on the front page at one time- when they're all about pretty much the same thing. It would be easy for him to put this all in one thread- and I'm the bad guy because I admit it annoys me... oh well.

Orincoro, I never said you were a bad guy. I think you are a fine kind of guy. I was just saying that I don't mind the thread. Mostly, you know, to counter what you said because I was afraid that if no one did, then Blayne might get the impression that everyone agreed.

Oh boy, though, if you want a chiding, I'll show you a chiding. Yeah, buddy, when you're chided by me, you know it.

Eh, who am I kidding. No one ever knows when they're being chided by me, because I very rarely hit "Add Reply" when I do. Those few times that I have let slip and hit "Add Reply", I've usually seen the error of my ways, and posted an apology later. I'm not heavy into the chiding.

My point is, chiding wasn't my intent, support was.

I found this cause to blush for some reason.

Is it chinese pizza?

General Tsao's Pizza would kick butt, I bet.

Grats on your job, Blayne. Hope the commute isn't too harsh for you to enjoy it.

I believe that they are all owned by the same company.

Incidentally, I didn't realize that the company was still around. I haven't seen a Little Caesars for a long time, nor have I seen any of their commercials.

TS- I get it, it's cool. My point stands, but I don't want to discourage Blayne from posting in general, just maybe posting such personal stuff in disparate threads. Try keeping it all in a thread so the laymen Blaynologists can follow it. It's a fascinating field.

Indeed it is.

Little Caesars- wasted name for crappy, bottom of the barrel pizza.

Enjoy your job!

Dude, it is all about dirty cheap pizza! I could live off of Little Caesars.
