Top of my list: I'm thankful for friends and family who really, really love me and vice versa.

What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful for chapstick, free veterinary care, my boyfriend who takes wonderful care of me, cold weather, and the fact that this year has been the best one I've ever had.

I'm thankful for self-sufficiency, life, and general happiness.

It's not Thanksgiving here, but...

I'm seriously thankful for Fahim. He's wonderful. I'm so glad I have him. [Smile]

I'm thankful for having a supportive family and network of friends, especially my awesome husband who has made so many sacrifices this year so that I could start up my businesses.

I'm thankful for my good health - I hope it continues for many, many more years!

And I'm thankful that I live a life of relative ease and comfort and safety. Life is so good.

p.s., also thankful for my pets. I adore them. Oh, and books. Lots and lots of books. Very thankful for those.

WHAT? You had no pre-planned Thanksgiving dinner? If I'd known that, I would have invited you over! It was just the two of us, and I made more food than we can probably eat in four days. We're going to have to find somebody to give it to!

I especially went overboard with the Old-School Mormon Jell-O Salad. We discussed it so much on the other side of the forums that I HAD to make some for Thanksgiving. I ended up making enough for about twelve people. My Mormon roots taking over again.

I am thankful that I am back in school and doing well in both my classes. Also I am thankful for my parents being generous enough to finance my education this time even though I really do not feel I deserve it, considering I pissed away a full scholarship last time. And I am thankful that my friend Ian, who now lives in Chattanooga, stopped by to say hello last night when he came up here. It was completely unexpected and all the more pleasant because of it.

My son, my son, my son, and ... oh yeah, my son!

I'm also thankful for all the basic things in life that I take for granted, food, shelter, clothes, having a job, and all the little things that make life tolerable.

I think you should all be thankful that MY ancestor came up with this holiday which gives us an excuse to glut ourselves on delicious food.

Yes I have the genealogy to prove it, and yes my last name is in fact Bradford.

No I don't own a pair of shoes with buckles, or a stove hat.

But having said that. I am so grateful for my wife, who tries so very hard to be the more then I could ever ask for. My family for being so wonderful to grow up amongst, my friends for saving me from disaster time and time again, and lastly little Mao Mao who even though he is getting us evicted from our apt is the most fun cat I have ever seen.

God can have his thanks in another more appropriate place.

I surprised my boyfriend with a mini-Thanksgiving for when he got home from his ridiculous trip Tuesday evening. I even managed to cook turkey without setting anything aflame! [Smile] So we had Thanksgiving already.

I'm thankful I have a home to call my own. [Smile] It also makes for a handy arts and crafts project, what with the decorating. I've just been enjoying having time to relax.

Oh, no, it was a conscious choice to be solo this Thanksgiving. [Smile] My family's not here and the quiet reflection was nice instead. I appreciate it, though - and hey, we can always jam on leftovers at some point.

Plus, Mexican food. Oh, my belly's gonna explode.
