Yeah. I don't think that it had a whole lot in common with the novel, though.

The reason I ask is that while I'm only 200 or so pages into Blindsight, it seems like it may be going in a Solaris-like direction. It's been a good 10 years since I've read Lem's book, though, so my memories of it are a bit on the vague side.
