Did anyone else see this last night? I can't decide if I liked it or not, and I think a great deal of that has to do with the fact that everyone else in the theatre apparently thought it was another Snakes on a Plane and laughed at every. Single. Freaking. Thing. No matter what it was.
And then of course, there was the conversation I overheard in the bathroom after the movie ended which proved to me that apparently, no one "got" the movie at all, which surprised me.
But before I get too far into that, has anyone else seen it? Did you see it with or without the stupid, laughing audience?

I saw it. There was some laughing, at appropriate moments (I haven't seen any other Samuel L. Jackson movies, including Snakes on a Plane). My biggest problem was the constant editorial of the people behind me. Extremely annoying. I thought the movie was good though.

Nympho in panties in bondage to a black backwoods farmer... sounds deep, I bet a lot of people will have trouble getting it.
Yes I am sure it is a bait and switch and he is actually trying to help her, save her from herself and protect her from bad men, yawn...

MidnightBlue, in our theatre, it didn't matter what happened in the scene; people laughed at it. Molestation flashback? Apparently, that's hilarious. Quiet conversation? Also hilarious. I'm fairly certain I missed a quarter of the dialogue because of stupid people laughing.
