Well it seems rather official now, my friends and I have looked at my lappy and have determined that the fan is either not working or being really inefficient as we can only hear the hard drive working and the laptop seems to be currently prone to over heat, infact when I was reinstalling windows on it it turned off on its own several times until we allowed it better ventilation (raising it several inches above the wooden desk) and cooled it off.
Gonna have to contact Acer it seems.

It's pretty sad that you only have one fan...maybe you should make your posts a little bit more mainstream. Get Rick Rubin to produce them.
