Paul Potts sings opera. It has amazed me. I needed to share in it's own thread.

He's pretty good, for a non-professional. [Smile]

T_Smith:

This tread was ignored, but well worth a second look. It seems like Paul Potts may have an agent now. Better suit and hair. All I can say is WOW! My 17 year-old son showed me his second appearence. I was surprised he was impressed as much as my wife and I were.

Total raw talent.

Thank you. [Smile]

I really enjoyed it. A lot of it was that... undiscovered, underdog feel.

Who was that unabashedly kind and generous judge on the far right? He kinda looked like Simon Cowell . . .

I've never really been able to get into opera, but after watching that, I'm gonna dig out my old CDs and listen some more.

wow, that was amazing.

It will be interesting if he can take this opportunity to go to the next level.

Aw. That made me so happy. I love what he said about how when he is singing everything feels as it should be, and he doesn't feel self conscious any more.

Geez. That made me all emotional.

That clip reduced my mother and younger brother to sobbing, gut-level tears of joy. [Smile]
