I just wanted to join the cabal of people starting topics to announce their plans to move. And to find out to whom, exactly, I'll be much closer. [Smile]

I leave for Durham on Saturday, arriving Monday (yes, driving), hopefully settled in by Thursday or so. It's extremely exciting, because as of yesterday, I'm both a homeowner and a car-owner. It's also a bit nerve-wracking: even though I did move, for all intensive purposes, to Arizona a couple years ago, I always had the "Get Me OUT of Here" timeline in front of me. Not so much with the Durham one. Not at all.

So*, who's around? Whom do I get to meet? Anyone?

Diana's right about there. Of course, she a) almost never posts, and b) is actually coming out here for a couple days.

I think there are a couple of Triangle (raleigh-durham-chapel hill) Hatrackers, but they don't post a great deal. Tammy used to post here a lot, not mucho lately. AFAIK, I'm the most active Hatracker currently living in NC. (excepting our host, et al). Email me at the addy in my profile, I live about 1.5 hours west of Durham.
