I am a minor, and I've read in a legal book that in Massachusetts, my home state, it's legal for a minor to consume alcohol; albeit, not to buy or own.
Now I live in Rhode Island, and would like to find out the laws there.
I tried googling, but am not finding pertinent info. Where to do so?

You're at Brown, right? I think when I was there the BUPD had a policy of not arresting students for alcohol possession or consumption, but you'll want to double check on current policy.
Not that I'd ever, ever encourage underage drinking. Nope.

Yeah, here at Brown. They gave us a speech which was quite interesting; first, do not drink, felony and so on. Then they went on how if we did drink (in excess), we should contact not the police but DPS, who wouldn't do anything anyway.
It shouldn't really effect me that much, as I'm not a heavy drinker, but still am interested in the details.
